About Us

The creation of Froot was born when Locals Coffee & Eatery owners Alana and Scott Davis relocated their coffee house to the former Wyndmoor Santander Bank location, freeing up the retail space in the 909 E. Willow Grove Ave. location. While at a friends party, they were chatting with their friends Susan and Jim McGoldrick -- whose daughters have been best friends since elementary school, and now are college roommates -- and discussed the idea for a healthy food destination with a feel-good vibe. Susan had always had a passion to own a small business and cafe and the McGoldricks were in! 

The overall concept and menu were a true collaborative effort between both families to fill a much needed option for the community to have a fun, vibrant cafe offering breakfast and lunch alternatives in the area for families, teens, local businesses, students or just anyone driving through the ever-growing Wyndmoor. 

Froot = fresh fruits + veggies roots! Froot is a family-run eatery in Wyndmoor that is focused on supporting and serving our community. The vibrant cafe offers healthy and fun options including fresh handcrafted smoothies; acai, green, yogurt and banana bowls; salads and grain bowls, wraps and quesa-DIY-as; fresh-pressed juices; and seasonal specials. 

Froot offers an array of original delicious menu items like smoothies and acai/salad/grain bowls, as well as a "Build Your Own" options, seasonal soups, weekly specials, and grab-and-go items! Froot also offers a catering menu, mobile ordering and now delivery!
